Baby Mix Doll's passion for music wasn't unexpected because of her parents, both musicians. She started taking vocal classes at the age of 7 and attended Music Academy at 11 where she studied classical flute, music reading, music theory, ear training, solmization and notation classes. Her interest in electronic music started at the age of 15 with massive influence from ther likes of Orbital, Prodigy, Daft Punk, Leftfield, Aphex Twin and Massive Attack. Since then, her interest in dance music has followed house, electro house, deep trance and minimal techno. Now based in London, she started DJing in 2003, having experienced all genres, refusing to stick only one of them, constantly searching for new music and focusing the idea of getting people into the music and enjoying every minute of it . Her main styles are electro house, french house and minimal tech-house. Her biggest achievement to date, however, is setting up an independent record label, Groove Storm, which she is currently working on. Her main influences are Daft Punk, Royksopp, Fat Phaze, Life Like, Kris Menace, Geyster, King Roc, Trentemoller, Switch, Abe Duque, Marc Romboy, Wighnomy Bros, Rex the Dog, Mike Monday, Caged Baby, Da Fresh, Erol Alkan, Sebastien Leger, Jerome Pacman, Vicarious Bliss, Cassius, Play Paul, Scratch Massive, Play Group, Ladytron, Fafa Monteco, Fisherspooner, Joachim Garraud, Linus Loves, LCD Soundsystem, Green Velvet, Tim Deluxe, Mox Modeta, Thomas Schumacher, John Dahlback, Steve Angello, Muttonheads, Soulwax, Huntemann, Punklarique, Steve Bug, Phonogenic, Black Strobe, Cirez D, Vector Lovers, Vitalic, Kavinsky and many more. Baby Mix Dollis currently co-organising her own house events in London to rival the best around and is definitely one to watch out for. This includes Superfreq at The End, and another project with Rory McCart currently in the pipeline, who she also has studio time pencilled in with.
