Rebecca Vasmant is a chick with an obsession for music. On top of her already bright modelling career, she has been DJing since 2003 and has never been able to imagine life without music. Her style is house music although its the filthy electro side of it she loves with a passion. Being fairly new to the scene means Rebecca has the world at her feet and she has already played at various venues in her native Scotland, mainly Edinbrugh, but she has plenty forthcoming in Glasgow and elsewhere too. With a move to England in the pipeline, she is also set to get involved with many events in Birmingham and London, where she is rapidly building new contacts. Ibiza is also calling for this fresh new talent. She is currently studying Music & Radio Production in order to develop her own individual sound, and she already has studio time pencilled in with Rory McCart for future projects. To her - music is magic. In Rebecca's own words "being in control of a room full of people is a very privileged position, you have the power to manipulate the energy, and make people laugh, smile or cry" which shows her enthusiasm for the scene. She loves to be herself and isn't influenced easily, so she is developing ather own pace and in her own way. "music for me is largely about emotive quality, timelessness and how it makes me feel, if it provokes a feeling then for me this is good and a crowd will feel good also ... I communicate through my music and I feel it allows me to say what I really want to say ... I have the sincerity to follow my heart and have fun"
